How did I ever NOT know that there is a Care Bear Cousin named Bright Heart the Raccoon???

For a variety of symbolic reasons, the raccoon fascinates me; it's become my totem. Due to its similarity, I also have grown to appreciate the tanuki or Japanese raccoon-dog.

Photos of the animals themselves do not appeal to me much. However, the art that these animals inspire people to create often interests and intrigues me.

Thanks to the queue function, I post ~~three~~ four new images or informational entries daily. So there should always be something fresh for you to see.
